Beast Mode...ON!!!

Lest than 6 weeks out. Finally went to Dr. yesterday after breaking down into tears because I still felt so awful. No energy, legs felt like rubber, sick : ( Another bout of bronchitis. But as soon as I got penicillin into me I started to feel better!! I made up my mind that today was the day I was hitting it hard. After 2 weeks of low energy workouts it's time to give it my all.
Then....I slept only 3.5 hrs!! Frig! Going through a break-up with my guy. They say training can be tough on a relationship, especially if you are both doing it! It was a bumpy start anyways and we had some good times but it just wasn't working. Just to need to let go and get focused and SLEEP!! I am still going to give it my all during this mornings workout. I am going to will myself awake and healthier.
It's GO TIME. CAN'T STOP....WON'T STOP!!!

6 weeks out and sick : (

Coach got me to get sauna pants. This is after my second workout in them. I hold alot of fat and water in my legs, time to get that out!! My BF took this pic after workout! t was excited!! Not always easy to see the progress in yourself but this pic showed me some. Love it..love the abs. So excited about my shoulders. Always wanted the "caps" and are they ever coming : )

This pic is from last Friday night. I had a rough day(sick). My bestfriend took this pic of me first time in figure shoes. Kinda funny, I look pathetic. I am still not fully recovered. Been rough trying to get workouts in without the energy I am used to. I keep on trucking though. today I am taking a complete rest day. Not leaving house. Baking cookies for me son and they smell yummy!! None for me though, not even a nibble. BEAST MODE ON!

7 Weeks out

Today I met with one of my teams trainers. She is IFFB pro. Such a sweetheart. We got 30 mins of her time. This was my first posing practice session. Man, do I have work to do! She took these progress pics for me. They are doing a little challenge for us girls that want to do a little "biggest loser" challenge. A small prize to the winner. I expect huge changes in my after pics!!! ; )

Favorite diet food....

This is the favorite meal on my plan. Which will most likely be taken away from me as I get closer to show time. Protein pancakes! Sooooo yummy. 1/3 oatmeal(cooked), 1/2 cup of egg whites, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1 Ts of chia seeds and cinnamon. Usually topped with sugar free syrup and berries. But this last sat I snuck some almond butter on them.

It's all this hunky guys fault. He always tells me how good it is with it on so i had to try it.
Nothing like a little eye candy in my kitchen on a saturday morning :D

8 Weeks Out!!!

I am not keeping up on this blog as much as I intended. I want to keep account of most everything to remember this crazy journey. I have already thought of giving up a few times. Had a HUGE cheat last weekend which really messed with my head. Feeling overwhelwed with the expense of it all..etc, etc, etc.
Anywayssss...here are my 8 week out pics. As you can see lower body has lots of work to do. My coach sent me new workout plan which involves lots of circuit training. He said, "It will cut you cup and bring you down(weight)"!! I like that idea. Looking forward to start seeing big change!!

Happy Valentines Day

My Coach changed up my diet starting today. So excited to see what changes will happen to my body. I can "alllllmost" see a four pack!!! Excting!!! Can't wait to see all the muscle I have been hiding for so long.
I am dating a bodybuilder who is in diet mode as well. What do you get your bodybuilder boyfriend??? Well,  a boquet of asparagus seemed fitting! haha. Also a note saying I will treat him to a cheat meal out some night. I will have to post a pic of him posing. I love his physique, truly beautiful and right now he's all...MINE : ) <3

First Figure Post!

So, I am forty and I am going to be in my first figure competion April 21, 2012! Call me crazy, lol. After the encouragement of alot of people I decided to go for it. I wanted to keep track of the road to the stage as it it's going to be a challenge for me not only physically but mentally and spiritually as well. I have visions of fainting, having an anxiety attack, throwing up before going on stage. Soooo, I try not think about the end result too much. Just going to try and take it one day at a time.
Let the journey begin........

12 WEEKS OUT!

10 WEEKS OUT!
Seeing difference already. My coach is impressed with the amount of muscle I have. The biggest changes that need to happen are on my lower half. My LEGS!!! Will have to start getting pics of those soon.
